Otokoç Automotive “Sustainability Innovation Challenge” started in cooperation with Plug and Play. The aim is to create a more sustainable mobility ecosystem.
The statement made on this subject is detailed as follows: transferred: “Applications have started for the Otokoç Automotive Sustainability Innovation Challenge, organized in cooperation with Plug and Play, to support startups focusing on developing innovative solutions in the field of sustainability. The program, which was initiated with the vision of creating a sustainable future and in line with Koç Holding’s carbon neutrality targets by 2050, will enable selected startups to realize their innovative solutions by carrying out pilot applications and collaborations with Otokoç Automotive. In the program, which is open to applications from both Turkey and globally until June 3, startups can only apply in the focus areas of Low Carbon Mobility, Energy and Water Management, Environment and Waste Management, Equality and Solutions for the Future of Humanity, and Sustainability Supported New Business Models, as well as Carbon Offsetting, Waterless Washing. They will also be able to apply within the scope of more niche need areas such as Solutions and Efficient Use of Fossil Fuels. To take part in DemoDay, startups will be evaluated within the framework of important criteria such as their technological competencies, focus areas and compatibility with Otokoç Automotive. Startups selected as a result of the evaluations will have the chance to make a presentation at DemoDay in front of a jury consisting of executives and ecosystem players from Koç Holding, Otokoç Otomotiv, Plug and Play. “This event will allow startups to meet industry leaders and present themselves to potential investors.”

With this program, Otokoç Otomotiv opens its doors to local and global startups that develop solutions in the field of sustainability. Startups that are successful with their presentations at DemoDay will have the opportunity to directly cooperate with Otokoç Automotive and Koç Group companies, conduct PoC and gain access to potential investment opportunities.
