The police were alerted at 16.30 about loud explosions in Gottsunda. At the scene, it was established that several shots had been fired at an apartment door, but that no one was physically injured.
The police are now carrying out a technical investigation at the scene.
– The police are working at full capacity now. They knock on doors and check vehicles. They were on the scene quickly, says police spokesperson Mikael Hedström.
The crime is being investigated as attempted murder.
