The man, whose name is abbreviated to UA, went to Jack’s Casino at de Kamp on the night of Sunday 29 to Monday 30 January 2023. He threw a plastic bag he had brought over the counter and shouted: “Money, now. Money in pocket. Money, money.” To reinforce his demand, he showed the two casino employees a large knife. He then made off with more than 3,500 euros from the cash register.
