La Française des jeux (FDJ) announced to the daily “Ouest-France”, Saturday May 4, the launch of a new scratch game and a big Loto for the 2024 Olympic Games.
In its own way, the Française des jeux (FDJ) wants to “contribute to the popular fervor around Paris 2024”. The CEO of the leading gambling company, Stéphane Pallez, announced the launch of two new products for the 2024 Olympic Games.
“In July we will launch a scratch card game called ‘Objectif or’. […] It will also have its digital version. There will also be a ‘Grand Loto de Paris 2024′”, she detailed in an exclusive interview with the daily newspaper West FranceSaturday May 4.
The exceptional draw of the “grand Loto” will be carried out on the day of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, July 26, 2024. “At least fifteen million euros will be won or shared”, has already sold Stéphane Pallez .
The FDJ “will respond” to the Paralympic Games
It will still be possible to place sports bets during the competition, only on sports for which there is no jury awarding scores. However, the FDJ is banking more on the Loto draws which will take place during the Olympic Games (seven in total), because the sporting and media event generates relatively few bets compared to the Euro football tournament. “Today, football represents 70% of sports betting,” added the CEO.
Finally, official partner of the Paris Olympic Games, the FDJ will also “respond” during the Paralympic Games, assured Stéphane Pallez. “Our collective of athletes, the FDJ Sport Factory, hosts several medal chances at the Olympic and Paralympic Games, such as Alexandra Saint-Pierre in table paratennis, or Alexandre Léauté in paracycling. On the business side, many FDJ employees will be volunteers.”
