The servers are active again and you can log in again. We are now adding the latest patch notes for Fortnite.

Fortnite has extended its downtime by another hour. So you probably won’t be able to start a game of Fortnite until around 3 p.m.

So far there are no signs that the servers will be activated again soon. Leakers are already wondering when the time will come. We stay tuned.
However, the update can be downloaded and amounts to 7,609 GB on the PS5. We have packed the leaks for you under the gray box.

What happens with an update? Today Epic Games is shutting down the servers for maintenance. You won’t be able to play Fortnite during the downtime, so it’s important to have Avatar’s tasks completed before the server goes down.

Fortnite: Start and duration from server down
Server down in the morning – this is what you need to know: Epic Games has announced its server down for Fortnite and has set it for 10:00 a.m. German time. Matchmaking is deactivated 30 minutes before the servers are switched off – so you can no longer start new rounds during this time.
When will the servers be online again? This depends on the size and scope of the update. If there are no complications, you can expect a downtime of one hour. But it could also be that the server down didn’t go down until around 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. We will keep you updated in this case.
When are the patch notes coming? Epic Games is currently only releasing its patch notes for the “Battle Royale” mode sporadically. If these exist, they will only be published after the downtime. We’ll list them for you as soon as Epic Games publishes them.
