A method for providing an automatic game mode option to a user during gameplay of a video game includes accessing by a server a user gameplay model that includes extracted features about the user’s gameplay and a classification of the extracted features. Access to the model is triggered at a current time during the game. The method further includes identifying by the server the predicted interactive event that is predicted to occur prior to the current game time. The method further includes identifying by the server at least a portion of the predicted interactive activity as expected grinding content (AGC). The method also includes sending a notification to the screen of a user device by the server; here the notification identifies the AGC in the upcoming game and gives the user the option to use the auto-play mode during the gameplay of the AGC.
