Today, the third SC final is played between Södertälje and Luleå – where the home team leads 2-0 in matches and can secure the gold. But perhaps Luleå can gain strength from its own warm-up routine – the made-up team sport “basketball volleyball”.
The rules are constantly updated, but basically there are similarities with volleyball. The difference is that everyone is holding a basketball instead of using their hands.
– Those who have been involved for three years have a slight advantage over the new ones. But here we just drive. It’s just to have fun. It takes away the tension a little before the match, I think that’s important, says coach Robin Sandberg.
