After a career spanning over 40 years in the film industry, Bruce Willis resigned from his acting role in 2022 due to his aphasia disorder. However, in the 1990s and 2000s, Willis was considered one of the biggest Hollywood stars of his time and was seen in numerous blockbusters.
This included Michael Bay’s Armageddon – The Last Judgment, where he worked with legendary producer Jerry Bruckheimer (Pirates of the Caribbean). He recently remembered his time together with Willis – and had an extremely touching story about the Die Hard star in stock.

Jerry Bruckheimer revealed to People that Bruce Willis was always courteous to the film crew on the Armageddon set: “Bruce is such a good guy. He was so generous to the film crew.”

Bruckheimer remembers a very special incident. The film crew organized weekly competitions among themselves on the set of the sci-fi blockbuster, in which Bruce Willis always took part with financial support:
