Isabella and Rasmus Wranå have had a fine home championship in Östersund and also convinced in the final.
In the seventh and penultimate round, Isabella stood for a nice last stone that gave Sweden two points and a real golden position before the decision. The duo entered the final set with a three-point lead, 7-4, and held off without much trouble.
– That was our goal for the week, so damn fun that we kept this match as well, says Isabella Wranå.
She celebrated her first international gold with a frog dance alongside supporters in the stands. Brother Rasmus has lots of gold already and recently won the WC with team Edin for the fifth time.

The WC gold is Sweden’s second in mixed doubles, which became an Olympic class in 2018. The first gold came in 2019 when Anna Hasselborg and Oskar Eriksson won.
