Ahead of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in Sweden, Israel’s National Security Council has urged Israelis who intend to go to Malmö to be careful. Among other things, they are advised to downplay their nationality and refrain from wearing the Israeli flag.
Many Israelis are now choosing not to go to Eurovision, due to fear for their own safety.
