The three commissions, politics, economy, social, will in turn present their final reports to some 670 commissioners and resource people who participated in the national dialogue. The three documents will be voted on by acclamation.
We will therefore know all of the recommendations of the dialogue. Among the ideas discussed, there was in particular the expansion of the powers of the head of state, but also a stronger Parliament, provisions to complicate constitutional modifications, in particular presidential mandates, or even the closure of the French military base .
Long debates
These reports are the result of long debates. The first proposals were drafted by a dozen subcommittees. These subcommittees presented their reports to the commissions, which themselves defended them before the dialogue office responsible for making the final synthesis. “ It wasn’t easy, we had to make choices, without betraying what was done.
