It’s the ecologist Minh-Xuan Truong at Sweden’s University of Agriculture (SLU) who, through surveys, will conduct a study of the viewers of SVT’s slow-TV success.
The aim is to investigate how digital experiences of nature affect people’s commitment to preserving nature.
— I want to see how the television program affects the viewers’ relationship with nature, says Minh-Xuân Truong to SVT.
Truong moved to Uppsala three years ago and was then introduced to the migration of the moose and the great interest in the program. Earlier this week, it started for the fifth time. This time it is also shown in Germany.
