The men claim that it happened with consent.
– I fought back until he hit me in the face. Then I realized that I am at much greater risk than just the emotional. I was actually in physical danger,” Kim says in the documentary “Laura Whitmore reviews – hard sex.”
British journalist, Laura Whitmore, hosts the documentary, which explores how rough elements of sex, BDSM, seem to be becoming more common, especially among young people.
In a survey of men under the age of 40, over a third said they had strangled a woman during the act. Almost a quarter admitted that they did it without any discussion before intercourse.
– From a medical perspective, I feel obliged to say that it is dangerous and should not be performed, says Dr. Cathrine, medical doctor and now medical director of a newly established institute to manage strangulation.
“Hit me and raped me”
Kim became interested in the power play in BDMS, which for her is about dominance and submission.
But her limit was crossed when she went home with a guy after a night out.
– From the beginning we had consensual sex. But I got an overwhelming feeling and pushed him away and said: Thank you you can go home now. But it didn’t happen that way and he pushed me down on the bed and raped me.
She goes on to say that she tried to get him away again, which didn’t work. Then she was allegedly punched in the face.
– I was in physical danger. It was safest to let him finish it. Which I did.
“Said the sex game went wrong”

Charlotte was on her way to a night club when she stopped at a shop. A guy followed her into the store and started talking to her. She then followed him to a property – where he strangled her to death.
– He said it was a sex game that had gone wrong. He stayed in the bedroom with her body parts for six days. He spread pornography on her body and used her bank card. That’s how we were able to track her down, says her sister Elouise in the documentary.
The man who carried out the murder received a life sentence. But far from everyone is convicted. In the documentary, it appears that there is a large number of dark figures.

The police: Contact the police for support and help if you have been the victim of a sexual crime. You can go to a police station or call phone number 114 14. Call 112 if it’s an emergency.
Health care Center: You can seek support to understand what you have been through, even if you are unsure whether what you have been subjected to is abuse. At the health center you can get a call contact. Sometimes it is enough to chat or video call with a psychologist to get help.
Student health/youth reception
Emergency Department: if you need emergency help, or help with track protection. In some places there are special receptions for those who have been victims of rape or other sexual crimes.
