We Lost Our Minds Zack Snyder Explains Why Rebel Moon

War with the Empire is no easy feat. In Rebel Moon – Part 2: The Scar Maker, not only the rebellious insurgents around veteran Kora (Sofia Boutella) noticed this, but also director Zack Snyder. Speaking to Moviepilot, he reveals that one sequence from the film was particularly difficult to shoot.

Zack Snyder had to shoot a 3-location sci-fi war for Rebel Moon 2

When asked about the hardships of filming, Snyder explains:

The battle scenes on Veldt were the most strenuous. Something is exploding everywhere, there are helicopters and fans and we all got dirty. The actors were hot. That was the hardest scene to shoot.

The effort was obviously not only physical, but also organizational. In the fight between the Empire and the rebels on the moon Veldt there is different battlefieldswhich influence each other.

The director states:

It’s simple for the audience, but the planning was incredibly complicated for us. There are at least three locations for the battle in the village: the field, the main house and the battleship. And they all happen in the background of others. Characters in Location 1 must react to events in Location 2. You don’t see it in the film, but we have almost lost our mindswhen we had to connect it all.
