Germany promised weapons to Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in a television interview on Sunday that Germany is doing everything it can to help Ukraine.

– We do everything possible and sensible. This includes the supply of weapons, Scholz says in an interview with German broadcaster ARD.

He also referred to the President of the United States Joe Biden to a Saturday speech and said NATO countries are not aiming for a change of power in Russia.

Biden said in a speech that the Russian president is not Vladimir Putin remain in power cannot be allowed. Later on Sunday, Biden himself clarified his words and assured him that he would not demand a change of power in Russia.
