The municipality is responsible for parking costs in the vicinity of hospitals, but it does not seem to be an option to reduce them. The rate charged by hospitals is above the municipal rate. If this were not the case, it is expected that people would park at the hospital and there would be insufficient parking space for patients and visitors to the hospital.
