Antoine Beau: Well, this figure was used in the media to explain that there would be an “epidemic” of cancers among young people. This is taken from a study, published in 2023, in the scientific journal British Medical Journal. And this refers to the increase in the number of cancers among those under 50 over the last 30 years.
