One person has been injured in an elevator accident at Hvitfeldtska gymnasium in Gothenburg, reports Göteborgs-Posten.
According to the police, it is a workplace accident where a person fell into a food elevator.
– The only information I have, via SOS, is that a person seems to have fallen into some kind of food elevator or similar, says Christian Brattgård, press spokesperson at the police to TT.
– It must be a person who is injured, but I don’t have the damage situation.
Hans Wettby, CEO of the school ISGR, which is located next to Hvitfeldska, tells GP that the accident occurred in a building where the schools’ common dining room is located.
– From what I understand, it is one of the staff who has driven a food cart down an elevator drum and fallen down, he tells the newspaper.
