Two men were arrested on Sunday in the departure hall at Arlanda with a valuable watch. The men are in their 30s and 45s.
They are suspected of serious money laundering. The limit for serious money laundering is approximately SEK 270,000.
– It is a matter of time, but it is believed that both people can be connected to the crime, says Anna Westberg, press spokesperson for the police in the Stockholm region.
The arrest took place at Terminal 5. The two men have been accompanied to the police station and will be questioned.
The arrest is the third similar case at Arlanda Airport in a short time. Yesterday, two men were arrested on suspicion of serious money laundering.
But according to the police, it is not a special effort but an outreach by police personnel on site.
– They have simply discovered these crimes, says Westberg.
