Smet from a hotel bill of 80,000 – two arrested

Two people have been arrested at an archipelago hotel in Norrtälje municipality after the staff notified the police of a suspected fraud.

A number of hotel rooms had been booked in the name of a company and suspicions arose that something was wrong with the booking when several in the party departed from the hotel without the bill of SEK 80,000 being paid.

– We were called to the scene and two men in their 40s have been accompanied to the station on suspicion of fraud, says police spokesperson Anna Westberg.
