For News24 confirms Sonja that there have definitely been some DMs in the inbox, but the messages that stand out are from the young girls who get in touch.
– What I have noticed, and what I respond to, are the fantastic younger girls who get in touch and really thank me for daring to say what I think. For people to say it’s an inspiration is the best compliment you can get. To be an inspiration by just being yourself, says Sonja and continues:
