Before the next live-action Transformers film with flesh-and-blood humans as sidekicks, Paramount Pictures presents Transformers One – a animated prequel with an English voice cast that is impressive. A trailer that as the first film preview to be streamed in spacecan already be seen.
It is not yet clear when the billion-dollar live-action film series will continue. But there are several sequels from the so-called Transformers Cinematic Universe in development.
Transformers One: Sci-Fi Battle on Cybertron
The origin story, set on the planet Cybertron, is about, among other things, the relationship between the heroic Autobot Optimus Prime and his sidekick Megatron, who go from robo-friends to bitter enemies over the course of the prehistory. In the preview we see how Optimus and his mechanical friends transformed into vehicles and airplanes for the first time. Autobot puberty, so to speak.
