New MMORPG wants to test with 100,000 players in April

The new MMORPG Pax Dei has announced its second alpha test. Over 100,000 players should be able to take part in the alpha test of the social sandbox MMORPG.

Update: Today, Monday, April 15, 2024, is the last day you can register for the test.

What kind of MMORPG is this? The MMORPG Pax Dei describes itself as a social sandbox MMORPG, which, in addition to the typical MMORPG elements such as PvP, crafting, leveling and looting, is particularly characterized by its base building.

The developers put a lot of focus on giving players the opportunity to build great buildings. In clans, players are supposed to create entire villages and produce all the goods the players need themselves.

With the Middle Ages as the setting, players have built entire castles in past tests and have already shown with the existing tools what the strength of Pax Dei should be.

The mix of MMORPG and survival game sounds interesting to many players, which is why the second alpha test is now letting 100,000 of them play for a week. The test is scheduled to start on April 23rd and players who want to take part must first register in advance to get a chance.

How to register for the Pax Dei Alpha

How does registration work? You can register for the Pax Dei alpha until April 15, 2024. Registration for the Pax Dei alpha takes place on the MMORPG website.

On the website you will find a large registration button where you can register for the game. There you first have to register an account and confirm your email. Once you’ve done this, you should be able to click on “My Account” in the top right corner.

There you will find the “Alpha access” area where you can press the “Opt in” button. There you have to link your Steam account and specify the country in which you live. The developers also want to know what device you are using to play Pax Dei.

Another tip if you want to play with your friends: You can have a friend token generated below. If you all have the same token, you will probably be invited as a group to test the game.

How can I increase my chances? To increase your chances of being able to participate in the alpha, you should also link a Discord account to your account. You can also do that on the website. The developers have revealed that this increases the chance of getting into alpha.

What has happened since the last alpha? Since the last alpha, the developers have worked on five points.

  • The values ​​of equipment and consumables have been revised. You can choose from hundreds of items and thus determine your class yourself.
  • The enemies of Pax Dei are now stronger and should be a real threat to the players.
  • New spells, combat abilities and weapon types have been added. The items now also have a shelf life and can become unusable.
  • With the new update there will be PvP in the game for the first time. There is a special province in which PvP should be allowed.
  • Crafting, base building, recipes and progression systems have been revised and expanded.
