Mikael, 39, was shot dead when he was on his way to the swimming pool with his son.
An intensive and extensive hunt for his killer is now underway.
At the same time, the prosecutor worries that information will be leaked that could destroy the investigation.
– You are not completely satisfied, says Ove Jäverfelt to TV4 Nyheterna.
It has been five days since 39-year-old Mikael was shot dead in front of his son in Skärholmen, and no one has yet been arrested as a suspect in the murder. However, two people have been arrested on suspicion of protecting a criminal.
– I will take a decision on whether I will request them to be detained this afternoon, says Ove Jäverfelt, prosecutor.
Those arrested are “young male persons”, according to the prosecutor’s office.
“Extremely many police officers”
At the same time, an intensive hunt is underway for the person who carried out the murder. TV4 Nyheterna has spoken to residents who say that uniformed police over the weekend have been knocking on doors around nearby subway stations, including in Sätra, which is almost two kilometers away.
The police command center confirms that there are “extremely many police officers in the area”.
– The police and I have worked hard throughout the weekend, says prosecutor Ove Jäverfelt.
“Could spoil the investigation”
Now the prosecutor is worried that false information about the murder is being leaked. He does not want to go into what information it is about, but says that it risks ruining the investigation.
– You are not completely satisfied when you read that information is being leaked from the police station by those who are not involved in the investigation, which can destroy so that the murder may not be solved, he says.
