It was at midnight that the alarm was received by the police that a bus driver at Kvarngärdet had been attacked by a person with a sharp object.
– The passenger is said to have been missing a bus ticket and the driver was attacked by a sharp object, but it was not a knife, says Magnus Jansson Klarin at the police.
The bus driver was examined by paramedics who assessed that he was in need of care. However, the extent of the damage is currently unclear.
A preliminary investigation into serious assault has been launched. No one has been arrested.
– We have interviewed witnesses and are working on getting surveillance material in, says press spokesperson Magnus Jansson Klarin.
