The Israeli War Cabinet met after Iran’s attack on Israel. In Israeli media reports based on sources close to the meeting, it was reported that the War Cabinet meeting ended without reaching a decision on the response to Iran.
“NO DECISION HAS BEEN MADE YET”
It was stated in the news that the War Cabinet was determined to respond to Iran, and that the War Cabinet had not yet reached a decision on the timing and scope. The news also stated that the Israeli army was assigned to produce additional options regarding the response to Iran.
“WE APPROVED THE DEFENSE AND ATTACK PLANS”
On the other hand, following Iran’s attack on Israel, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Spokesperson Daniel Hagari held a press conference. Hagari stated that Iran attacked Israel with approximately 350 missiles and UAVs, and said that the attack included a total of 60 tons of explosives and that this “could cause tremendous damage.” Referring to the response to be given to Iran, Hagari said, “We made evaluations in the last few hours and approved the defense and attack plans.”
