London, 2075. A cutting-edge prediction system called Foresight AI has been developed to predict future crime based on network data, reducing crime worldwide by 90%. However, the system predicts an inevitable event that could soon lead to world destruction. On top of that, Foresight AI developers come up with a new artificial intelligence that can monitor and solve these grisly crimes before they happen, and they call it “Sherlock”, a nod to the unique detective of classical literature.
While working on several cases, Sherlock discovers the gruesome truth: Like a spider waiting for its prey, behind all these cases lies Moriarty, an artificial intelligence that could rival Sherlock’s abilities. In CRIMESIGHT, one player takes on the role of the murderous “villain”, while the other takes on the role of the “target”, the future victim of the villain. While the player on the Moriarty side tries to fulfill the objectives in order to commit the crime, the players on the Sherlock side try to prevent this from happening. Throughout the game, both the target and the killer gradually surface. So which side are you on?
