European stock markets lose momentum with Wall Street red Milan

(Finance) – Closing at parity for most European stock exchangesincluding Piazza Affari, while the FTSE 100 stands out in a positive way. The price lists have lost much of the morning’s increase due to the downward trend on Wall Street, weighed down by some disappointing quarterly reports from the banking giants. JPMorgan recorded a profit per share better than consensus expectations, however, the indications on the interest margin for the entire financial year disappointed. Citigroup exceeded analysts’ estimates, while Wells Fargo failed to meet the interest margin forecasts.

Minus sign forEuro / US Dollar, in a session characterized by large sales (-0.76%). L’Gold, increasing (+0.99%), reaches 2,397.1 dollars per ounce. Positive session for the petrolium (Light Sweet Crude Oil), showing a gain of 1.70%.

It retreats slightly spreadwhich reaches +139 basis points, showing a small decrease of 2 basis points, while the yield of the 10-year BTP stands at 3.73%.

Among the main European stock exchanges without momentum Frankfurttrading at -0.14%, well bought Londonwhich marks a strong increase of 0.91%, and Paris is stable, reporting a moderate -0.16%.

No significant change in closing for Milanese price listwith the FTSE MIB which stands at 33,764 points on the day before; on the same line, it remains around the parity line the FTSE Italia All-Share, which closes the day at 35,921 points. Under parity the FTSE Italia Mid Cap, which shows a decline of 0.31%; as well as, slightly negative FTSE Italia Star (-0.64%).

On the Milan Stock Exchange it appears that the exchange value in the session of 04/12/2024 it was equal to 2.6 billion euros, from 2.68 billion in the previous session; while the volumes traded went from 0.61 billion shares in the previous session to 0.55 billion.

At the top of the ranking of the most important titles of Milan, we find Saipem (+3.92%), Amplifon (+3.42%), Is in the (+2.91%) e ENI (+2.69%).

The worst performances, however, were recorded on Interpump, which closed at -5.63%. In red Stellantis, which highlights a sharp decline of 3.27%. Undertone BPM desk which shows a filing of 1.20%. Disappointing STMicroelectronicswhich lies just below the levels of the day before.

Between best stocks in the FTSE MidCap, Danieli (+3.78%), Maire Tecnimont (+2.09%), Juventus (+1.88%) e D’Amico (+1.87%).

The worst performances, however, were recorded on OVS, which closed at -3.86%. Bad performance for MFE A, which recorded a decline of 3.83%. The negative performance of Digital Valuewhich fell by 2.67%. GVS drops by 2.45%.
