Two people have been arrested by the police and detained by prosecutors for involvement in the murder of 39-year-old Mikael.
According to prosecutors, the arrested are “young male persons”.
– They are on probable grounds suspected of grossly protecting a criminal, says Helena Ekstrand at the Public Prosecutor’s Office’s press service.
It was last Wednesday that Mikael was shot dead in Skärholmen. The man, together with his 12-year-old son, was on his way to the swimming pool when he was shot in the head and died.
Mikael is said to have told a youth gang and in response he was executed in an underpass.
On Saturday evening, the police announced that two people had been arrested and then detained by prosecutors for involvement in the murder.

Ekstrand does not want to state the ages of the suspects, but says that they are “two young males”. She says that she has not received any information that there would be additional people who have been detained in the investigation.
The police are tight-lipped about the arrest and the state of the investigation.
– This investigation is still in a sensitive situation and therefore the preliminary investigation secrecy is strict, says the police’s spokesperson, Daniel Wikdahl to TV4 Nyheterna.
