Around 11 o’clock on Saturday morning, the emergency services and police were called to Nordöhamnen outside Kungälv after reports of a motorboat that had caught fire.
However, it is still unclear what caused the fire.
– We have no information about personal injuries, says police spokesperson Fredrik Svedemyr.
According to the emergency services, there was no risk of the fire spreading. The boat itself burned out and sank to the bottom. Emergency services had to continue cleaning up leaked diesel.
