Player loses extremely rare Master Ball to a weak Wommel because he makes a stupid mistake

The Master Ball is extremely rare to obtain in Pokémon Go. A player has now wasted their ball on a weak Pokémon. If only he hadn’t handed his cell phone to his child.

What happened? The player had probably been on the beach with his family and had his smartphone with him. Exciting Pokémon can also appear on the beach, which you of course want to catch. He reported this on Reddit.

On the beach he handed his cell phone to his son. And he didn’t miss the opportunity to throw the valuable championship ball at the nearest Wommel. A Wommel is a tiny insect that can evolve into Bandelby and has been around since the 7th generation of the game.

What makes the Master Ball so valuable? The Master Ball is rarely available in Pokémon Go and is often linked to extensive research, which does not always exist.

What makes the Master Ball so valuable, however, is its ability: If you throw the Master Ball at a Pokémon, the throw always succeeds. No matter how difficult the catch would normally be. For this reason, players save the ball for particularly tricky pocket monsters, such as the extremely rare Galar birds.

There has been criticism for a long time when children have smartphones

How do other players react? Under the thread, many players are saying that it is the player’s own fault if he hands his phone to his son. An expensive cell phone simply doesn’t belong in children’s hands, although it is of course practical for parents to distract their own annoying child in this way:

  • “I believe that 80% of all Master Balls used are due to parents putting the phone in their child’s hand.”
  • “No. People need to stop handing out thousands of dollar cell phones to stupid kids.”
  • “That’s why I just let my son cry instead of letting him play with my phone, I laugh my ass off.”
  • But the mentality of giving very young children cell phones or other electronic devices has long been criticized. Deutsche Welle, for example, quotes an American pediatrician who explains that children’s social development would be disrupted in the long term if children under the age of 2 were given a cell phone. Small children react to the colorful flickering, but they would not understand what they are seeing.

Anyone who buys a cell phone will quickly find many alleged tips to improve performance or battery life. But many of these “tips” are not true at all. You can read more about this directly on MeinMMO:
