(Finance) – The indices of Piazza Affari and the other main European stock exchanges were all negative at the end, on the day of the ECB which, as expected, confirmed interest rates, with the probability of a cut in June remaining high. The president of the European Central Bank, Lagarde, in addition to underlining that the ECB is “independent of the Fed”, specified that the trend of monetary policy is subordinated to the data expected from April to June. Meanwhile, without direction theS&P-500 on the Stars and Stripes stock exchange, after March producer prices which fell below analysts’ expectations. However, analysts now rule out a first interest rate cut in June.
On the currency market, slight decline inEuro / US Dollar, which falls to 1.072. Slight increase forgold, which shows an increase of 0.50%. Oil (Light Sweet Crude Oil) fell (-1.43%) to 84.98 dollars per barrel.
It goes up spreadsettling at +141 basis points, with an increase of 6 basis points, with the yield on the 10-year BTP equal to 3.86%.
Among the markets of the Old Continent sharp decline for Frankfurtwhich marks a -0.78%, a slow day for Londonwhich marks a decline of 0.47%, and a small loss for Paris, which trades at -0.27%. Negative session for Piazza Affari, with the FTSE MIB which leaves 0.96% on the floor; along the same lines, widespread sales on FTSE Italia All-Sharewhich closed the day at 35,887 points.
In Piazza Affari the exchange value in the last session it was equal to 2.67 billion euros, down by 6.68%, compared to 2.86 billion the day before; as regards volumes, these stood at 0.61 billion shares, compared to the previous 0.79 billion.
At the top of the ranking of the most important titles of Milan, we find ERG (+2.06%), A2A (+1.04%), DiaSorin (+0.81%) e Italgas (+0.80%).
The worst performances, however, were recorded on Ivecowhich closed at -4.06%.

He suffers MPS Bankwhich highlights a loss of 3.48%.
Among the protagonists of the FTSE MidCap, Philogen (+4.61%), Alerion Clean Power (+3.49%), Pharmanutra (+2.41%) e SAES Getters (+1.94%).
The worst performances, however, were recorded on Ferragamowhich closed at -6.08%.
