“Am adopted – has been absolutely amazing”

Emil Henrohn had his impact with the “I’m a mother” sketch.
This fall, he goes on tour with his solo show – a performance in tribute to all mothers.
Now Emil talks for the first time about his own mother.
– I am adopted and it has been absolutely fantastic to grow up with my mother, says Emil in Nyhetsmorgon.

He had his big impact with the sketch and the song about the mother from Nacka. When Maktbarometern first included Tiktok, Emil Henrohn topped the list of most powerful on Tiktok. This fall he is going on tour with his solo show “I am the mother show”.

In the performance, the audience will get to experience all of Emil’s different humorous characters, and the show will be a tribute show to all mothers – where the love for his own mother will be given space. In Nyhetsmorgon, Emil now talks for the first time about the fact that he is adopted, but that he sees his mother as his biological mother.

– For me, she will always be, but I am adopted and it has been absolutely fantastic to grow up with my mother. I will talk more about that and touch on it in the show, says Emil.

– They have supported me in everything, he continues.

Emil Henhron: “It’s nice to be able to tell a part of myself”

Emil will tell more about himself and his upbringing in the show, where he will be more personal than we are used to seeing him. It will be the first time that Emil talks about it openly.

– It feels good and I look forward to portraying it on stage. I feel that it fits with the common thread and it’s nice to be able to tell a part of myself, and that you get to know me. There have been a lot of just characters on Tiktok, says Emil.
