It can’t be easy being the son of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
But now Vincent Seger Ibrahimovic has started to make a name for himself.
The 16-year-old struck with his very first national team goal on Tuesday evening.
With a father named Zlatan Ibrahimovic so everyone understands that it comes with expectations. The son Vincent Seger Ibrahimovic will always be compared to his dad but has now started to build his very own football career.
Vincent’s success
The 16-year-old plays everyday in Milan’s youth academy, the same club that father Zlatan works for as an advisor to the RedBird ownership group. Recently, Vincent has been selected for the Swedish P16 national team and now he has had great success.

Zlatan junior has both made his debut and his very first national team goal in a four-nation tournament in Belgium. Vincent struck with the only goal of the match against the host nation Belgium and became the big match winner.
First hit
The goal after 52 minutes was Vincent Seger Ibrahimovic’s first in the blue-and-yellow national team shirt and he is one step away from his father’s record of 62 goals in 122 international matches for the A national team. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is Sweden’s all-time top scorer in the men’s national team.

Vincent is described as a central midfielder with good game perception and good finishing by the P16 confederation captain Axel Kjäll. Next up are matches against the Netherlands and Denmark for the Swedish youth national team.
