The prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story takes place five years before the destruction of the Death Star and tells of a dark double murder and the creeping spread of fascism. The petty criminal Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) becomes one Captain of the Rebel Alliance.
Star Wars: Andor illuminates the galaxy politically. It tells, among other things, about the run-down planet Ferrix, which suffers under the Empire, and about the oppressed prison inmates on Narkina 5. No uncomfortable questions are left out.

It is not yet known when the long-awaited second season will be released, as plans have been postponed due to the long Hollywood strike. With a However, publication is not expected before 2025.
