Maintenance on April 9th – All times for server down

These times are important today: Bungie informs its players via x.com (formerly Twitter) about the exact downtimes. It is planned that the servers will not be accessible for 4:15 hours today.

This is what the maintenance schedule looks like:

  • Background maintenance will begin on all platforms at 2:00 p.m.
  • At around 2:45 p.m. the servers go offline. Players are automatically kicked out of the game.
  • The shooter should be online again at 7:00 p.m. and you can log in again.
  • The maintenance will then continue in the background until 9:00 p.m.
  • This must be taken into account when dealing with downtimes: As long as the background maintenance is running, connection problems may occur in the game from time to time. In addition, queues can sometimes form when logging in because Bungie only releases access to the servers gradually in order to avoid problems caused by excessive server load. You may therefore have to wait longer until you are back in the game.

Also keep in mind that third-party applications and the official Companion app may also not be accessible properly for a while, meaning you won’t be able to use them.

That changes with the new update in Season 23

The following problems are known: There are also many problems that players have to complain about in Season of Wishing. Bungie has a few on the list, but it’s unknown which ones will be fixed (via bungie.net). However, the following bugs could be addressed:

  • Big changes to the sandbox theme are to be rolled out for PvP.
  • The Fireteam Finder is missing some options like adding Bungie friends.
  • Some legendary emotes are sorted with exotic emotes.
  • Veist rifles can only be partially rotated when inspected.
  • The Mind Twister’s Pursuit shotgun no longer glows when fired.
  • Some rocket launchers will no longer appear when inspected.
  • Ancient artifacts still appear in players’ inventory.
  • Patch notes for the update on April 9th. in Destiny 2

What’s in the patch notes? A full overview of all fixed issues and improvements will not be available until this evening or afternoon after the update goes live.

We will update our article and provide you with the link to the patch notes. Because it is possible that the patch notes will subsequently change or be corrected by Bungie.

That’s all the information about today’s update. If there are any unforeseen changes, we will of course keep you updated. So feel free to stop by again.
