In his latest newsletter, Mark Gurman discussed the release of the new iPad Pro and iPad Air. New improvements and accessories that suggest a price increase.
According to information from the Bloomberg journalist, Apple is expected to unveil new products very soon. The launch reportedly includes new 11- and 13-inch OLED iPad Pro models and a iPad Air larger at 12.9 inches. The American brand would also switch to OLED, a higher quality screen on all of the new iPad Pros.
An improvement which has a cost since it should be reflected in the selling price of the devices. The newsletter mentions that the prices of the new iPad Pros are expected to increase compared to the current generation. Today, the price of an 11-inch iPad Pro reaches €799 while the price of the most high-end, namely the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, stands at €1099.
Added to this, Apple is also expected to unveil new accessories for the iPad Pro. The latest iPadOS beta suggests that the new Apple Pencil will have a new tap gesture feature. The new Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro should, for its part, make the tablet look even more like a laptop with an aluminum base and a larger trackpad.
Users will have to wait before the marketing of these new products. Mark Gurman’s report predicts a release date for the new iPad Pro and the new iPad Air for sometime in May. Nothing has yet been officially confirmed by the American multinational, which should make its announcement on the same day as the estimated release date.
