Iran’s military has been put on full alert and a decision has been made to avenge the attack in the Syrian capital Damascus this week, where among others three generals in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard were killed. This is stated by the New York Times, referring to Iranian sources.
The newspaper also writes that Israel and the US military in the Middle East have increased their readiness.
Iran’s UN ambassador has said that he will give interviews in the American media when “Iran has given its answer to Israel”.
