Troopers, robbers or marauders. Three terms, but they all describe the same target – the foot soldiers of the Automatons. The troopers are smaller units of robots that are equipped with either normal laser weapons, glowing blades or rocket launchers.

This is how you find the troopers: In Helldivers 2, the troopers can only be found in the red sectors of the galactic map. You are most likely to find them in their bases. There they either guard their factories or man guns.
They are also dropped off from landing ships and can also be found on patrol. Increased difficulty is not necessary to spawn these enemies as they are not considered “Armored Units”.
This is how you kill the troopers: The troopers are easy to take out. They have no armor at all and can be transported into the technical afterlife with targeted hits on the head. Note that some of the troopers are agile or can attack you from long distances.
The melee fighters are nimble and try to slash you. Therefore, pay attention to your surroundings and use shotguns to tear them to pieces in close combat.
The rocket launcher troopers are also deadly sniper shooters. If you’re not careful and don’t have a shield equipped, they can even kill you in one shot. Therefore, take out the rocket warriors first before focusing on the other units.
When it comes to weapons, you can’t go wrong with the Breaker, the Liberator or the Sickle. All of the guns listed do their job brilliantly and shred your robot enemies in seconds.
If you need to reload, you can also use grenades like the G-16 Impact. This model requires no detonation time and causes your opponents to explode immediately upon impact.
What’s the easiest way to find the troopers? To find the troopers most effectively, you should tackle missions on lower difficulty levels. It is completely sufficient if you select the level “Trivial” or “Easy”. This way you won’t have any “heavily armored enemies” thrown at you and you can concentrate fully on the troopers without being torn to pieces.
