Robinson 2024 opened with a real shock announcement, both for viewers and participants: the two teams would consist of women and men, respectively.
– It starts with drama all at once. A very charged competition the first thing that happens and then we get two very, very different camps, said the presenter Anders Lundin in a press release ahead of the premiere.

And drama, indeed it has been. One of the conflicts that has characterized the season so far has revolved around Ci Lindströmwho in one of the first Robinson episodes was chosen by Simone Sjöström to duel against Desiree Forsberg Fors.
Ci, to the disappointment of the other Team South participants, won the duel and then received an immunity necklace.
– To put it bluntly, she is the one we want out, said participant Charlotta Hedlund, who called the outcome the team’s “worst case scenario”.

Once back at the camp, it didn’t take long before Ci Lindström, in front of the impending island council, expressed a desire to vote out Simone, who had pitted her and Desirée against each other from the very beginning. She was then described by Ci as “the weakest link”.
But after the island council, which ended with Desirée having to leave, the talk immediately started that Ci would have wanted Simone out.
– I feel like I’ve been thrown under the bus, says Ci in the program, who then claims that it was Desirée who decided that they should vote for Simone.
– It feels very strange that you, as such a strong person, would say “tell us who we should take, and we will take it”. Don’t you have an opinion of your own?, counters Charlotta.
– You can’t believe anything you say, says Simone.
Charlotta Hedlund stole Ci Lindström’s immunity
When Ci Lindström later manages to find a hidden immunity at the team’s camp, she decides to keep her find a secret. But the rest of Team South sensed inadvisability and in connection with Ci being in the toilet, Charlotta Hedlund takes the immunity out of Ci’s pants and throws it into the jungle.

It later turns out that the supplement is against the rules. If the immunity had been taken from a hiding place or lost and found by another participant, it would be okay.
– But we don’t want you to start looking in each other’s personal things, rummaging through pockets or bags, says Anders Lundin in the program and continues:
– We don’t think it’s okay, we think it will be boring and unpleasant.

Charlotta Hedlund: “Had been mean to Simone”
Many viewers have reacted strongly to Charlotta Hedlund taking immunity from Ci Lindström and in a video on Tiktok, which Charlotta also shared on Instagram, she highlights the situation.
– First of all, I just want you to understand and think about the fact that it is a very small part that you get to see on TV. Everything is cut together to make good television. Having said that, I lay flat on my face that I took the immunity. In my defense, we knew we were allowed to take immunities, but apparently not in a trouser pocket or a private property, she says and continues:
– It’s not nice of me, but right then and there we didn’t think it was cheating.
In the same video, Charlotta also explains why the team wanted Ci to leave the competition.
– The reason why all of us in the girls’ team wanted to vote Ci out was because she had been mean to Simone, she says and states that Ci uttered insults against Simone, by saying, among other things, that she is “too fat”.
– But none of this has been shown on television.

Ci Lindström: “Have followed all regulations”
When News24 asks Ci Lindström how she views Charlotta Hedlund’s video and accusation that she would have uttered insults towards Simone Sjöström, she says this:
– It’s probably just a way of finding excuses for their theft.
– I have nothing more to say. The game is over and I can’t understand her continuing after her behavior. I have not spoken ill of anyone either before or after and have followed all regulations.

However, Simone Sjöström believes that Ci Lindström, after she selected her for the duel, wanted to get her out of the competition and that there were then comments about her body.
– But the way she did it was perhaps not the nicest. There were a lot of comments about how I looked and that I was shorter and fatter than the other girls, which then made Ci think that I was the weakest link and would slow the team down because I wouldn’t be able to run or swim as fast as them and also have difficulty digging under or climbing over things, she tells Nyheter24 and continues:
– She said all this both behind my back to the other girls, but also to my face. She also told me that I would embarrass myself and look stupid on TV and that she knows how TV works because she is much older than me.

According to Simone Sjöström, the other team members were supportive and very helpful.
– But in the end they also had enough and we then chose to tell all this to the participant manager who said that she would pass it on to production, but that she could not promise what action would be taken.
– We also said that we did not want Ci to be washed up and sent home, but more perhaps that she would receive some promise from the production or the like.
Simone doesn’t know if anyone from the production ever spoke to Ci, but notes that the atmosphere improved after the team put her against the wall.
– We still had a good relationship for the rest of the season, as you will see, and we are in contact after Robinson and are certainly not enemies or have something untold with each other today, but everyone knows that Robinson is a game and above all a TV- production and what happened on the island we have left there.
The Robinson producer: “Having an ongoing dialogue”
When Nyheter24 asks TV4 if they have any knowledge of the alleged violations and if they have taken any measures in the current case, they answer Caroline Norrbyexecutive producer for Robinson, in a written comment:
“Robinson, as you know, is recorded under tough conditions where the participants are under constant pressure, which often results in strong emotions and heated discussions. We in production have an ongoing dialogue with all participants during the program’s recording.”
