Tales of the Empire series will follow in the footsteps of Tales of the Jedi and examine more closely the past of characters that have an important place in the Star Wars mythology and their roles in the galaxy. The connections of characters such as Barriss Offee and Morgan Elsbeth with elements such as the Nightsisters group, which is increasingly prominent in the Star Wars universe, play a major role in making the series particularly interesting. Stories set during the rise of the Empire offer audiences new perspectives on the motivations of dark characters and their impact on the galaxy.
