WhatsApp continues to add new features
WhatsApp is working on the ability to create events in groups, and this feature could be useful in many more ways than initial reports about the feature indicated. As TheSpAndroid points out in its report, users can create events not only in groups within communities, but also within regular groups. Additionally, events can be created to schedule video calls as well as voice calls, and a link will be created for group members to join.
Additionally, the report states that you can edit events. You can set the title, description, date, location, etc. you can change it. Attendees will be notified of the changes and everyone will see an edited transcript for the event. However, only the event creator can edit the event.
