This is how you get target crystals
How do you find the item? In the first few hours of the game you will receive a single target crystal from the hands of Captain Brant. After you complete his quest “Feast of Deception,” you will receive a Portable Target Crystal as a reward.
Even after completing the quest “The Trial of Archery” you will receive a copy of the item.
Can you buy target crystals in the game? Another option opens up for you when you get to Battahl. There you can visit the Shrine by the Bay and shop at the Dragonforged.
However, you cannot redeem the valuable item for plain gold. For 20 Wyvern Crystals you will receive a Target Crystal. To obtain Wyvern Crystals, you must kill the dreaded half-dragons.
To use a target crystal, simply select “Use” in your inventory. However, target crystals cannot be placed everywhere. You have to be in the open air to do this.
In addition, only up to ten pieces can be distributed in the game world. This excludes those placed by the developers.
