Eleven people were injured in a Russian drone attack in southern Ukraine. Ukrainian authorities claimed that the Russian army struck the southern regions of Mykolaiv and Odessa. Eleven people were injured in Mykolaiv, in the south of the country, following this Russian drone attack, Ukrainian army spokesperson Nataliya Gumenyuk said in an interview on national television.

Power plant in Russia on fire after Ukrainian drone attack
In Russia, a fire broke out at a major power plant in the southern Rostov region, the local governor said, following a series of Ukrainian drone attacks in the region. Two units at the Novocherkassk power plant, one of the largest in southwest Russia, have been taken out of service, Governor Vassili Goloubev said in a message published on Telegram on Monday.
“A fire broke out in the transformer substation […] and was quickly extinguished,” he said, specifying that the fire did not cause any casualties and that its causes are under investigation. Ukraine says it hit two Russian ships in annexed Crimea
Ukraine, which struck two Russian ships in annexed Crimea, claimed new success in the Black Sea on Sunday. The Ukrainian armed forces claimed in the morning that they had “managed to hit the amphibious ships Yamal and Azov, as well as a communications center and other infrastructure of the Russian Black Sea Fleet”.
“I thank all our heroes […] which rid Crimea and the Black Sea of the presence of the occupier. It is a difficult task, but our soldiers are gradually accomplishing it,” welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his daily address. After sinking numerous Russian boats since the offensive launched on February 24, 2022, Kiev has therefore claimed this new success, a humiliation for Russia which had to abandon the blockade of the coasts still under Ukrainian control.
