Dragon’s Dogma 2: The Pack’s Prey

There are some quests in Dragon’s Dogma 2 that are time-critical. These missions include “Prey for the Pack” in the English version. It’s not that easy to track down the whereabouts of the missing boy Rodge. We’ll help you with our quest guide!

Which quest from Dragon’s Dogma 2 is it okay? In the Ruhestadt settlement you will receive the quest “Prey for the Pack” from the druggist Morris. His son Rodge has disappeared. Find him! Father’s tip before you set off: Talk to some of the villagers who might have seen him.

You actually learn something useful from the conversations: Rodge liked to hang out near certain flower fields. Thanks to the information, a new location on the map is highlighted in color.

This is how you master Prey for the Pack

So what’s hard about the quest? When you reach the marked location, you quickly realize that there is no trace of Rodge there either. You can explore the surrounding area as dedicatedly as you can, you won’t unlock any more markers for your map.

So what to do? Theoretically you have to follow the trail of flowers, but it’s easy to miss. In practice, we’ll just tell you where you have to go: To the Faulhöhle in the east of Ruhestadt.

The Faulhöhle is located east of Ruhestadt. That’s where you’ll find Rodge.

On the way there and in the cave, all sorts of wolf creatures are waiting for you that you have to get out of the way – including a stronger beast in the clearing in front of the cave. The animal opponents are not a problem in themselves.

Things can get more difficult if you leave the task lying around in your quest log for too long (or have already wasted too much time searching). MeinMMO editor Karsten arrived on site too late and could only bring the boy’s tattered clothes to his dismayed father.

How do I recognize time-critical quests? Time-critical quests are highlighted in the quest log – in such cases the hand symbol always changes to an hourglass symbol.
