City of art and history located less than fifteen kilometers west of Vannes, Auray has preserved some beautiful half-timbered houses, an old medieval bridge and is crossed by a river which leads directly to the Gulf of Morbihan. The Saint-Gildas church, the chapel of the Holy Spirit, as well as the view of its former fishing port, the Saint-Goustan port (in the image)deserve a visit.
