The inspection was not only carried out by the municipality, the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA), the Utrecht Region Environment Agency (ODRU), the UVW and the police were also involved. They visited catering companies to check the status of permits, hygiene and fire safety, among other things.
