YouTube TV, which promises to revolutionize the way we watch TV, has some advantages, such as the ability to watch multiple channels at the same time. This feature, called Multiview, went live on smart TVs last year. It’s also coming to mobile devices this year.
YouTube TV improves itself with new features
Google announced that it has started offering the Multi View feature to iPhones and iPads. This feature is rolling out to Android smartphones and tablets in the coming months. This is a bit disappointing because Google appears to be prioritizing Apple’s platforms over their own, while Apple is doing the opposite. A Redditor showed off what the feature looks like on an iPhone.
This feature works from the home tab but only works with certain sports channels. Hopefully, Google will add Multi-View support to more channels so people can watch their favorite sports alongside a movie or TV show. Once the feature goes live on Android, you can use it on your Galaxy smartphone or tablet. This feature is already available on Samsung’s smart TVs.
