A new design and larger slabs
Good news, therefore, Tim Cook’s teams would have some nice surprises in their box. According to Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), a group of analysts specializing in the supply chain of panels, to which the relevant Ross Young belongs, the Cupertino giant is preparing a MacBook Air of around 15 inches, which could be marketed as soon as 2023. This is not the first time that such a project has made noise online, but things seem to be clearer this time around.

DSCC does not, however, give any details on the configuration that could be embedded in the new giant ultraportable, or on the new design that would accompany this development.
About ten days ago, Ming-Chi Kuo suggested that MacBook Air equipped with an M2 processor would arrive this year, and could benefit from a new design. Will Apple, once again, evolve its machines by chip jump?
His report also indicates that the 13.3-inch MacBook Air – in any case more compact – would not be abandoned, and would even see its display surface grow too to adopt a screen diagonal between 13 and 14 inches. .
On the other hand, it does not seem that Apple is considering a return to an ultra-compact format with a smaller panel.
Moreover, in addition to this revelation on the MacBook Air, DSCC indicates that Apple would also prepare a new iPad with a “slightly” enlarged screen too. From next year, its entry-level tablet would thus abandon the 10.2 inches, after being confined to its original 9.7 inches for a long time.
