(Finance) – From 18 to 21 June 2024will kick off at ENEA Research Center of Casaccia la third edition of the Hydrogen Summer School. The main theme of this third edition, which will take place entirely in English, will be “Mastering safety and regulation in the hydrogen value chain“, with a focus on topics such as the chain of value of hydrogen, the legislative and regulatory framework for safety, best practices in managing safety related to the production, storage, transport and end uses of hydrogen. Furthermore, industrial projects and case studies will be examined.
“The interest in the topic of hydrogen is of increasingly significant importance, as we are talking about a fundamental vector for the energy transition; for this reason the “Energy Technologies and Renewable Sources” Department (TERIN) of ENEA, l The Italian Association of Chemical Engineering (AIDIC) and the “Chemical Engineering, Materials and Environment” Department of Sapienza University (DICMA) are organizing a Summer School on hydrogen technologies”, reads the note.
The objective will be to provide a complete vision of the supply chain, analyzing opportunities, potential and critical issues, as well as the key role ofhydrogen as an energy carrier and catalyst for decarbonisation and energy transition, as well as for its sustainable economic implementation in the energy sector.
The training program will include specialist classroom lecture sessions and group work focused on topics, processes and technologies relevant to the hydrogen supply chain. The Hydrogen Summer School will welcome doctoral students, researchers and young professionals active in the fields of development of hydrogen-related technologies. You will be able to register from 19 March 2024 until 30 April 2024.
